Keung's Delight is this super popular Chinese restaurant located on one corner of a plaza that houses the T&T Supermarket on Warden. Because of all the Asian-ness surrounding the area, the parking lots are insanely busy all the time and this place probably gets quite a bit of foot traffic as well. The menu here offers up a wide variety of items and is large enough to cover any picky person's preferences.
We ordered the eggplant with minced pork, sticky fried rice, diced beef tenderloin , and malaysian chicken wings. Every dinner comes with complimentary soup that I found to be quite good. It's your standard Cantonese that is flavored with pork and large root veggies.
The minced pork with eggplant was done perfectly. I really liked how crisp the eggplant was on the outside and tender inside with not much oil from the pork. The sauce looks rather spicy but doesn't taste it at all. The sticky fried rice was good. It's exactly how it sounds. I liked the flavor of it, but found it a bit salty.
The black pepper tenderloin was also done well, but again overly seasoned and was so strong. The malaysian wings were the worst. It's a matter of opinion but the pungent smell and flavor of the malay sauce was something I wasn't ready for. Kind of smelled like very pungent fish sauce and was coated over the wing.
The service here can feel a bit rushed, but that's probably cause the place is always packed and the place seems to be understaffed. Despite that, food comes out quick, and though I find it pricier than most places, it's not bad. Would come on an off hour as I can see this place garnering quite the wait during peak lunch and dinner times.
They also have afternoon tea specials from 3-5pm with a nice variety as well.
