As far as Korean fried chicken goes, this place actually brings out some pretty good pieces.
K-Pop is a smaller restaurant that replaces the old Billy Jacks Po Boy sandwich shop. The place is rather small, but does strictly fried chicken, though one of my friends tried to get something NOT fried. He had a hard time.
The menu offers staples like Green Onion Chicken, Sauced Chicken, etc. I have been a couple of times now. I have tasted the Spicy Fire Chicken, but have also gotten medium sauced chicken. The half orders are about $17-18, while a whole chicken is about $25. The sauced chicken tends to be on the sweeter side, but at least their sauce doesn't drown the chicken. Skin is still crisp. The fire chicken had just enough bite and heat to where you're not suffering.
The lunch specials are decent too, but I find the portion pretty small. Chicken pieces are good though. The fries are crispy and good and with chicken and pop, it's about $8.
The place is fine. The food is good, but prices are pretty high (as it is with most Korean Fried Chicken). Definitely nice to stop in once in a while, but wont make it a regular spot. Also, don't be alarmed when you see androgynous men rapping and korean girls strutting their stuff on the TV. That's K-Pop...
