Hi Tea Calgary

Hi Tea is a tiny bubble tea shop in the corner of a small plaza right by the bubble tea behemoth that is Chatime. Despite their largest competitor next door, they still remain somewhat busy because of the main intersection with the bus stop bordering Chinatown in Calgary.

Dragon Chinese Restaurant

The Dragon Chinese restaurant is a Chinese restaurant located on top of another restaurant by the Calgary Bow. The place itself offers up some Chinese food away from Chinatown, but the dim sum is the reason we wanted to go. Not sure how dim sum in Calgary is, but this place was not very good.

Charcut Roast House

Charcut is another one of those best restaurants in Canada, according to 100Best. The restaurant itself is located and attached to Hotel Germain right at the foot of the Calgary Tower, so it's not hard to find. The interior is very nice and much of the patrons reflect that with their dress code. The menu offers up a variety of local options like bison, elk, duck, and such.

Cows - Banff

Great little ice cream shop on Banff Avenue. The place itself has a banner that says Canada's Ice Cream, so you can't miss it. Originally from Prince Edward Island, the place is apparently one of the best places in the world to get ice cream?

Melissa's Missteak

Melissa's Missteak is the actual name of the place according to the sign outside. The place is located away from all the touristy action, but I read good things so decided to drop by for brunch before we took from Banff for good.

Bear Street Tavern

Bear Street Tavern is a small spot that is right below the Bison Restaurant. They are owned by the same people and share the same venue (of sorts). The patio out front can be nice, but they also have a patio out back and a nice bar inside. The menu offers up standard sandwiches with pizzas as well.
