Colette Grand Cafe

Colette is a beautiful place inside (with beautiful people as well). We came for the boujee brunch buffet. We had Chase Gift cards, and the wife has been bugging me about splurging on a nice brunch place. Knock out two birds with one stone.

Champlain at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac

The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is probably the most outstanding icon that Quebec City has. Because it is the "Most photographed hotel in the world", there's hardly anything new you can do with it that most tourists haven't already done. However, did you know that you could have Afternoon High Tea in the castle!? Cause that's exactly what we did!

Le Cafe Michi

Looking at the prices for Le Cafe Michi, I was caught a bit off guard as most everything is more expensive than other places. I thought the food had better be good and it actually was! The place is tiny like a small cafe with a sushi bar in the back that is a bit hidden. The cakes and such are on display as soon as you walk in, but it can get a bit cramp, especially when there's a crowd. Menu offers some Japanese cafe dishes along with sushi.

Dazzling Cafe

The Dazzling Cafe is yet another Taiwanese chain that is making its way to the Greater Toronto Area. This particular chain is popular in Taiwan and already has locations in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and British Columbia to name a few. When you walk in, you can see where they get their name as it is a rather elegant looking interior that is both modern chic yet has a young vibe to it. The offerings are primarily dessert with a few pasta, pizza, and rice dishes thrown into the mix. And of course, the fruitiest drinks possible.

Big Gay Ice Cream

Big Gay Ice Cream always draws attention whenever there are passerbys. The place is located right off Broad Street and Lombard Station. The ice cream parlour is rather larger than I imagined, but that is probably to hold the steady long lines that it seems to garner.
